Staying busy

Allen left, he is in training now, soon to be on his way to Djibouti. Alaina and I are settling in to our new home at mom and dad's house. It has proven to be pretty fun and Alaina is staying busy in the garden and even cleaning house!

Easter

This was the first Easter that Alaina understood the concept of the Easter Bunny and could not wait for the egg hunt! It was a great Easter, she died eggs (for the first time!) with her cousins Aaron and Eric and had egg hunts at PaPa's house and Gramma and Grampa's house. She had such a fun time.

Band-Aid Mania!

Alaina loves, loves Band-Aids. At one point her Band-Aid count was 10, they were covering her arms and legs. The moms at her gymnastics class kept asking what happened to her! I explained she is not injured, just obsessed with Band-Aids. While Allen and I were packing part of our kitchen before the move, Alaina kept herself occupied by unwrapping several boxes of Band-Aids! She was quite proud of herself.
