Let's ride a bike!

Thanks to the beautiful weather, we decided to get my bike out. Allen is training for a half marathon and since I have no desire to run that far, I ride my bike along side him as he runs with the jogging stroller. When we got the bike out and aired up the tires, Alaina couldn't wait to get into the tool box and help Allen fix mama's bike. It was really cute.

A day at the Air & Space Center

During the month of March, the Virginia Air & Space Center is offering free admission to military and their families. This past weekend they had a church group doing balloon animals and face painting, so we went and had a lot of fun! Alaina got to see her first 3D IMAX movie. It was pretty funny, during the few rare moments she actually wore her glasses, she kept reaching out to try and touch the 3D fish! It really made us laugh. It was a very fun day!

Crazy weather

After our lovely day of snow, the next week it was in the 70s and 80s! Luckily Alaina was feeling much better so we were able to play outside 4 days in a row! She was very excited to get to go out everyday. I enjoyed opening the windows and getting fresh air in the house. It was a wonderful few days!

Snow!

Last week, after many predictions of major snow storms that gave us no snow, it finally snowed! It was just a little bit, but it was still very exciting. Unfortunately Alaina had double ear infections so we couldn't go out and play. But we enjoyed watching it from inside the cozy house.

Supply Corps Ball

A couple of weeks ago we were able to attend the annual Supply Corps Ball, which celebrates the Navy Supply Corp's birthday! Alaina stayed with a good friend from church so Allen and I could go enjoy a tasty dinner and dancing. It was so nice to get to go out on a date!
